Payne -ful years to come for baby Bear

-

SINCE the rumour mill has been in overdrive for months, the announcement that Cheryl and Liam Payne have split is hardly a surprise – nor is the predictable statement about the estranged couple having ‘so much love for each other’, and their infant son Bear being ‘their world’. Still, I’d imagine the toddler will have greater challenges ahead than his parents splitting before he could remember. As someone who survived primary school with the name Looney on all my copies, I can assure Cheryl and Liam that young Bear Payne will have quite enough on his plate in times ahead. HAVING enjoyed the thrilling Munster hurling final on Sunday, I was concerned to read the headline in The Sun’s match coverage: ‘More Cork glory but keeper semi conscious.’ To be honest, I’d thought Anthony Nash looked perfectly healthy at the end of the 70 minutes. It took me ages to remember that the match was, technically, a quarter final.
