Bono and Shannon

BONO is leading the Irish charge at the United Nations – as has been widely reported in the media this week.

But surely Bono is aware also that the real backstop needs to be plugged at Shannon, where around 2003 an Irish government allowed military planes to stop or backstop at Shannon!

Since then these military planes or the contents within have been involved in conflict wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria and, currently, in Yemen.
