FOSTER AND ALLEN TOP CHARTS

MARK FOSTER (right), first out yesterday, aced the 177-yard seventh hole with a nine-iron on his way to a 77. It was Foster’s fourth career hole in one. By coincidence, RTÉ colleague Greg Allen also has four aces, the latest of which came at the 16th on the North-West links on Tuesday evening.
