POLDARK star Aidan Turner, pictured, was mobbed by fans as he signed autographs outside a London theatre this week. And, as proof of the breadth of the Clondalkin man’s appeal, most of his fans looked as if their only designs on his famous torso might be to knit him a nice warm sweater – in fact, to judge by their age profile, he may well be Sunday night drama’s answer to Daniel O’Donnell.

THEY may have decided to go their separate ways, but Cheryl is going to be keeping an eye on her ex Liam Payne for some time to come… at least until he can get it surgically removed. Because among the ridiculous tattoos he got in tribute to his beloved (including replicas of the giant roses tattooed on her bum inked into the backs of his hands) he’s got a lifelike image of her left eye on his forearm. Bet he’s sorry he didn’t go for ‘Magaluf Summer 2017’.
