CLARKE GEARING UP TO BE HOST

DARREN Clarke is set to follow Paul McGinley as tournament host of the Irish Open in 2020. The 2011 Open champion is likely to consider The K Club and Mount Juliet, both close to centres of population, as his venue. With rounds of 76-75, Clarke (right) missed the cut yesterday.
