Flower power from timeless beauty Naomi
SHE has achieved icon status after becoming one of an exclusive set of supermodels who ruled the Nineties. And Naomi Campbell, left, proved her timeless appeal as the 48-year-old stole the show at Dolce & Gabbana’s Alta Moda show in Lake Como, Italy. Naomi strutted her stuff in a puffball gown that was as flamboyant as it was decadent, featuring a garishly brilliant feathered skirt that trailed behind the statuesque beauty. The dress also boasted an emerald green bodice, complete with an elaborate baroque motif – a Dolce & Gabbana favourite – that possessed a flattering sweetheart bustline. The resplendence was amplified with a show-stopping feathered headpiece that was adorned with roses to complement the show’s outdoor setting – the stunning grounds of the Tremezzo Olivelli Park, on Sunday. Also among the stars were legendary supermodels Helena Christensen and Eva Herzigová, pictured below, with the latter breaking away from the endless catalogue of theatrical frocks with an androgynous powder blue three-piece suit.
