Man ‘left baby boy in woods’
A MAN told investigators he left a fivemonth-old baby boy in the woods after a weekend car crash in Montana in the US because the baby was very heavy, court records said.
Officers found the baby – cold and hungry and face down under a pile of debris and sticks – early on Sunday after a six-hour search.
Francis Carlton Crowley, 32, is being held on a charge of criminal endangerment. He had told investigators that the baby was ‘somewhere in the mountains’.
