Do you apply foundation before SPF?

FOR maximum protection, sunscreen should always be applied underneath foundation or a tinted moisturiser. But the most important thing to remember is to reapply it during the day, especially if you find your make-up sliding off in the heat.

To be extra safe, choose a foundation with a built-in SPF to layer on top of your sun cream. Try to find one with an SPF of at least 30. My favourite lightweight summer base is Estee Lauder Double Wear Nude Water Fresh Make-up SPF30 (left, €40, brownthomas.com), which provides long-lasting protection and feels like water on the skin.
