Laugh hard! Bruce is a good sport as he gets roasted by his ex-wife Demi

-

THEY were divorced in 2000 – but Demi Moore and Bruce Willis are clearly still able to share a joke together, as Demi made a surprise appearance at the actor’s Comedy Central roast in LA at the weekend.

The Ghost actress looked sensational at the event, wearing a sparkling black dress which was belted at the waist to show off her slender figure.

During her part of the roast, Demi, 55, pictured right and below, embracing her ex, made a crack about their marriage, quipping: ‘I look at our marriage like The Sixth Sense. You were dead the whole time.’ Later she quipped: ‘I was married to Bruce for the first three Die Hard movies, which makes sense because the last two sucked. Bruce considered the end of our marriage his biggest failure. Bruce, don’t be so hard on yourself, you had much bigger failures: Planet Hollywood, Hudson Hawk, campaigning for [1988 US presidential candidate] Michael Dukakis, turning down Clooney’s role in Ocean’s Eleven to focus on playing the harmonica.’

Despite cracking plenty of jokes at her ex-husband’s expense, the pair shared a warm hug on stage. And Bruce, 63, got his own back later on with a dig of his own at his ex-wife.

Referring to the night’s host, actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce joked: ‘Joseph played a younger me in Looper. He couldn’t pull it off. There is one actor who successfully played me. It was Demi Moore.’ Among the best of the jibes on the night was one by comedian Jeff Ross, who said: ‘I can’t wait to see your next project, Die Hard 6: Natural Causes.’ Meanwhile, fellow comedian Nikki Glaser said: ‘Your daughters must be so proud of their father: Ashton Kutcher.’

Bruce and Demi’s children Rumer, 29, Scout, 26, and Tallulah, 24, were also in attendance – and were in hysterics. Bruce has been married since 2009 to model Emma Heming, with whom he has two young daughters.

Speaking about their relationship to Vanity Fair in 2005, Bruce said: ‘It’s hard for people to understand, but we go on holidays together.

‘We still raise our kids together – we still have that bond. Demi is the mother of my children.’
