How Kylie dreamed of being a make-up mogul

KYLIE Jenner is set to be the youngestever self-made billionaire thanks to her cosmetics brand, according to Forbes.

Now her mother Kris Jenner has claimed Kylie’s success is simply down to hard work, having dreamed of becoming a make-up mogul as a teenager.

Speaking to TMZ, Kris, 62, said of her daughter: ‘She had a plan when she was 17. She said, “Mom, OK, I want you to sit down, as I’ve finally figured out what I want to do for the rest of my life”.

‘And she said, “It’s going to be make-up. I want to do my own make-up, and I want to do a lip-kit, and these are going to be my first three colours”.’

Kris, pictured with Kylie, showed TMZ her daughter’s first three lip products, which Kylie released after she revealed her business plans.

‘She had meetings, she knew exactly who and what she wanted,’ Kris continued. ‘And she executed it. And I think it was only after ten minutes that her product was sold out.’

Kylie, who is director of Kylie Cosmetics, has said she wants to maintain the brand for the rest of her life so her five-monthold daughter can inherit it.

Last week Forbes business magazine revealed the 20-year-old was on track to become the youngest ever billionaire, valuing Kylie Cosmetics at $900million (€770million).

The publication branded Kylie the ‘cosmetics queen’, declaring: ‘She’s set to be the youngest-ever self-made billionaire. Welcome to the era of extreme fame leverage.’
