MILA Kunis defended her husband Ashton Kutcher and his past relationship with Demi Moore during a podcast promoting her latest movie.
The 34-year-old actress weighed in on the relationship between 40-yearold Kutcher and 55-year-old Demi, who married in 2005 and separated in 2011. Kutcher began dating Mila in early 2012, and on Tuesday, she spoke about the relationship when she appeared on WTF With Marc Maron.
‘They had, like, a normal, real relationship,’ Mila said. ‘They had three kids they were raising. It was, like, a normal life.’
The Hollywood stars raised eyebrows when they started dating as Kutcher was 25 and Demi was 41.
‘He was younger but he loved those kids,’ Mila said of Demi’s daughters Rumer, 29, Scout, 27, and Tallulah, 24, with her former husband Bruce Willis, 63. Ashton and Demi married in September 2005 with about 150 family and friends, including Willis, in attendance. Demi announced her intention to end their marriage in November 2011 and Ashton filed for divorce in December 2012 citing irreconcilable differences. Their divorce was finalised in November 2013.
Mila and Ashton who starred together in That 70s Show started dating in 2012 and welcomed daughter Wyatt in October 2014. They married in July 2015 and welcomed a son Dimitri in November 2016.
Mila has been promoting her new comedy The Spy Who Dumped Me which also stars Kate McKinnon, Justin Theroux and Sam Heughan.
The movie follows Audrey, played by Mila, and her best friend Morgan, portrayed by Kate, who find themselves caught up in a major international conspiracy when Audrey’s exboyfriend reveals he’s a CIA agent as he re-enters her life with assassins on his trail. The action comedy by director Susanna Fogel will be released this month.
