Peter Andre and wife really don’t mind the gap

-

PETER Andre’s wife Emily MacDonagh has insisted the 17-year age gap with her husband is ‘completely irrelevant’.

In her OK! magazine column, Emily, who is 28, hit out at cruel comments about her age difference with 45-year-old Peter.

She wrote: ‘I think that age is just a number. If you are compatible as a couple then your age is completely irrelevant.

‘Pete and I always joke that I act a few years older and he acts a few years younger so we meet in the middle.

Emily also revealed her family plans. The pair, pictured, already have two children: Theodore, aged one, and Amelia, aged four.

‘People often ask me if we will have another and find it surprising that we aren’t planning to,’ Emily wrote, insisting she feels her family is complete.

She say it is unfair to ask such a direct question, pointing out: ‘The worst part is that so many couples struggle with fertility and it must be incredibly stressful being asked about it constantly.’

The Emily and Peter love story is stronger than ever since they tied the knot back in 2015 and began raising their children. Peter found love again with Emily after his headline-grabbing romance and marriage with Katie Price, 40, who had made her name as the model Jordan.

Peter and Katie were separated in May 2009, with the divorce finalised that September, after marrying some three-and-a-half years earlier.

Emily met Peter after her surgeon father, Dr Ruaraidh MacDonagh, performed a kidney stone operation on the singer and introduced him to his family.
