Is Dec hoping Ant’s ex Lisa will Takeaway a message from his tweet?

DECLAN Donnelly took to Twitter yesterday to retweet a mantra about ‘letting go of ego, resentment and hate’. Quoting a post from what appears to be a fan account for American business magnate Warren Buffett, Dec’s retweet comes in the midst of the dramas surrounding his long-term co-presenter Ant McPartlin.

The tweet read: ‘Let go of: 1 ego 2 entitlement 3 resentment 4 hate 5 doubt. Hold on to: 1 hope 2 gratitude 3 optimism 4 curiosity 5 love.’

This seems poignant given the current situation with Ant – who announced earlier this month that he is taking time out from his television career until 2019.

While it was retweeted by Ant and Dec’s joint Twitter handle, it’s worth noting that Dec, pictured, has been the only person tweeting from the account in recent weeks.

In addition, dramas currently surround Ant’s estranged wife Lisa Armstrong and his new girlfriend Anne-Marie Corbett.

While Ant is focusing on his recovery after a relapse in his painkiller addiction, his estranged wife Lisa has been taking to social media to ‘like’ tweets about him being ‘pathetic’ and ‘despicable’.

Ant was on holiday in Italy with his and Lisa’s former PA, and a passerby told The Sun: ‘Ant kept cuddling Anne-Marie. He looked amazing and happier than ever. They seemed even more in love and were just being classic tourists, shopping in the market and taking pictures.’

In the midst of his romantic holiday, ITV bosses have confirmed that Ant will be replaced by Holly Willoughby for the forthcoming season of I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here, and that Declan Donnelly won’t host their Saturday Night Takeaway show alone. Fans are speculating who will replace Ant for the show’s 18th series.

After a fan sent Lisa a message about how heartbreaking the situation must be, she responded with a simple crying face emoji.

She went on to favourite several tweets, which called Ant ‘insensitive’ and ‘disrespectful’ – continuing to do so on Sunday as more replies branded him ‘despicable’ and ‘shameful’.

The Strictly Come Dancing senior make-up artist also retweeted a message from a fan, which read: ‘It’s tough I’ve been there too and sooo disrespectful after so many years.’

Lisa and Ant announced their split in January before details of his new romance came out earlier this year.
