Rennie: Glasgow charges must show discipline

- By JAMES MURRAY

DAVE RENNIE has warned Glasgow that they will need to be on their best behaviour when they welcome Munster to Scotstoun tonight. Warriors kicked off their Pro14 campaign with a narrow 27-26 win over Connacht last week but conceded 16 penalties as they squeezed through at the Sportsground. Rennie does not want his team taking any chances when they face up to Johann van Graan’s men. ‘Munster are a quality side and are consistently up at the top end of our league and in Europe based around a really strong pack’ the Kiwi said. ‘They are smart tactically, kick really well and look after the ball so our discipline will be important, but we’ve trained really positively this week and can’t wait to get back out in front of our vocal home support.’ Rennie has kept the changes to a minimum, with the inclusion of Fraser Brown and Adam Ashe in the starting pack the only alterations to last weekend’s starters. On that occasion, No8 Ashe climbed off the bench to score what proved to be the matchwinning try. He now replaces Ryan Wilson, who moves to the flank. Brown joins Oli Kebble and Zander Fagerson in the front-row, while Rob Harley moves up from flanker to partner Jonny Gray in the second row. Callum Gibbins remains in the back-row. Stuart Hogg rejoins Tommy Seymour, a tryscorer against Connacht, and DTH van der Merwe in an unchanged back three, with Peter Horne partnering Nick Grigg in the midfield. His younger brother George starts at scrum-half and Adam Hastings is in the playmaker role at 10. Rennie added: ‘Over the last year there has been a lot of changes week-toweek based on availability, so it is good to have some continuity from the game last week.’
