Gemma reveals secret crush on Brian McFadden ... and how KFC ruined it all!

-

SHE’S back coupled up with her on/off beau James ‘Arg’ Argent following the premiere of her new reality series Diva Espana – but before rekindling their love, The Only Way Is Essex’s Gemma Collins has revealed that singer Brian McFadden was ‘the one who got away’.

The 37-year-old Meme Queen also divulged that the former Westlife star visited her Essex apartment in the past, but she didn’t grab the opportunity to make her dream to bed the Dubliner a reality because he was eating a bucket of chicken.

In scenes set to air on Livin’ With Lucy, which is on Virgin Media One tonight at 9pm, the reality icon, pictured, dished the dirt on her celebrity crush.

She revealed to presenter Lucy Kennedy: ‘I loved Westlife and Brian McFadden was the one who got away. He should have been mine.

‘Brian McFadden has been in this apartment. I wanted to jump on him but he had a bucket of KFC. That was not the reason I wanted to jump on him. I thought, “How am I going to get McFadden into the bedroom?” because I wanted to fulfil this lifelong dream of making love to Brian McFadden.’

Continuing to gush about the Real To Me hitmaker, Gemma confessed she is ‘obsessed’ with Brian, who was previously married to Kerry Katona and Vogue Williams. She also insisted they ‘could have been Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers’ should their lives have turned out differently.

And Gemma’s world was rocked once again when she googled the singer’s current relationship status and learned of his two-year romance with PE teacher Danielle Parkinson. Initially gutted by the revelation, she shared: ‘Oh s**t, he has a girlfriend. Forget it. He looks happy. It’s never going to happen.’

Her comments have emerged after she and fellow TOWIE start James had a tumultuous few months – as they called it quits once again in July, only to reconcile weeks later. It was also revealed last month that he had returned to rehab in a bid to tackle his demons.

In a statement, Arg said: ‘It’s not been an easy time but I’m happy to be back in a programme that gives me the ongoing support I need.

‘I’m thankful for the incredible support I have received from my family, close friends and colleagues.’

The Sun reported that he ‘has been living under a dark cloud’ and has decided it’s time to ‘focus on his health’. The pair split in July after a series of rows, but got back together last month.

Brian McFadden’s representative was contacted for a comment, but had not responded at the time of going to print.
