Trump has blood bank in limo and Bond-style watch

A CAR fitted with its very own blood bank, a jet that costs over €180,000 an hour to run, and a watch with a special widget that allows the wearer to discreetly alert his Secret Service agents…

They sound like the gadgets assigned to James Bond in the opening sequence of a spy thriller – but these are the accoutrements of the most powerful man in the world when he leaves the US.

The presidential jet, which costs a staggering €182,000 per hour to run, is fitted with electronic defence units and shields to protect its communication devices from radiation and nuclear blasts.

Meanwhile, the presidential armoured limousine, Cadillac One, aka ‘The Beast’, can withstand rocket-propelled grenade and biochemical attacks.

For such scenarios, it also has its own built-in oxygen supply.

In the limo’s boot is a blood bank with the president’s exact type in case of emergency.

The limo’s doors, which weigh as much as a Boeing 757 airplane cabin door, have no keyholes. A special trick, known only to the secret agents guarding the US president, is required to gain access to the passengers.

In addition, Mr Trump has a Bond-style watch which has a Secret Service logo that he can press if he feels under threat in public, alerting his bodyguards instantly.
