Ronan and Missy Keating

HE’S famous for Boyzone and having his own solo career, but, of course, Ronan Keating also harbours desires to be a respected actor. He starred in the Second World War film Another Mother’s Son, before treading the boards with the stage production of Once. His daughter Missy has been acting since she was around 13. And now at the age of 18, she is also trying her luck in the music business as the Dubliner and her best pal Georgia Gaffey have entered The Voice UK with their acoustic duo GGMK.

Ronan and ex-wife Yvonne have always kept a close eye on all their kids but Missy’s dad knows she’s capable of coping in a business where too many young people are exploited. ‘Missy’s a smart kid, she sees that and knows how wrong that is,’ he has said. ‘We’re safe with Missy.’
