Nadia Forde gives birth to baby daughter

- By Dora Allday

NADIA Forde and her rugby player fiancé have welcomed a baby girl, announcing her birth with a photo on social media.

She showed off her first child, Wyatt Winnie Day, with a touching Instagram post of the model holding her firstborn to her breast, with Nadia calling her new arrival ‘our little warrior’.

Proud father Dominic Day posted a photo of himself carrying his daughter out of the hospital with a caption that read: ‘Life gets hard, kid. But we’ll do it together. Got my girls home, mumsy was amazing. Here’s to the future.’

Forde responded to his post saying her heart was ‘bursting’.

The 29-year-old singer, model and actress has been dating Welsh rugby player Day, 33, since 2015, when they were introduced by Irish ex-international Peter Stringer and his wife Debbie O’Leary, who is a close friend of Nadia’s. The model, who previously dated former Leinster ace Luke Fitzgerald, hit it off with Day but they had to conduct a long-distance relationship as his playing career took him to Japan and Australia in 2016 and 2017.

Day returned to the UK last year to play for rugby union side Saracens.

In March of this year, Day and Clontarf native Nadia got engaged, with the glamorous pair getting engaged in New York. The former I’m A Celebrity… star said at the time that she was ‘on cloud nine’.

Just two months later, Nadia announced her pregnancy as the pair holidayed in Italy.

She said they could not wait to meet their daughter and that she felt ‘so lucky’ to have Day by her side, alongside a bikini shot of her holding her small bump. Three weeks ago model Nadia posted a picture of her abdomen, mischievously captioned ‘tick tock’.

It seems the new family are settling in well, with Day posting a photo holding his daughter, saying he was watching ‘TV with me mate’ on Instagram last night.
