Go write a hit song or paint a picture, Jon Bon Jovi tells reality TV stars

-

JON Bon Jovi has slammed modern celebrity culture and reality TV stars in a cutting new interview. The 56-yearold rocker, who has sold more than 130million albums worldwide, unleashed on Kim Kardashian and the Real Housewives franchise while speaking on Australian TV.

‘I think it’s horrific that we live in that world and I can tell you I’ve never given 60 seconds of my life, EVER, to one of those Housewives Of Blah Blah and Kardashians,’ he ranted.

‘I don’t know their names, I’ve never watched 60 seconds of the show, it’s not for me.’

The Livin’ On a Prayer legend, pictured, then brought up Kim Kardashian’s infamous 2007 sex tape with R&B singer Ray J.

‘What’s gonna be in your autobiography? “I made a porno and guess what I got famous.” F***, sorry, I’ll pass,’ he sniped.

The rocker continued his rant, next taking aim at the lack of talent in many of today’s top stars.

‘Go and write a book, paint a painting, act, study, sing, play write,’ he continued.

‘Fame is a byproduct of writing a good song.’

While Jon Bon Jovi may not be aware of it, Kim has showcased her many talents in various areas of the entertainment industry. Away from reality TV, she has released a dancepop song called Jam (Turn It Up), starred in films such as Disaster Movie and Tyler Perry’s Temptation, and even released a bestselling book of her most famous selfies.

The brunette has even become a successful tech entrepreneur thanks to her emoji app Kimoji and a mobile-based role play game.

Despite his disdain for the genre, Bon Jovi tried to launch his own reality TV show back in 2015 called If I Wasn’t A Rock Star.

The series, which appeared to be inspired by Paris Hilton’s The Simple Life, was supposed to follow famous rock stars as they returned to their hometowns to lead normal lives without their minders.

Unfortunately, the show never quite got off the ground and now appears to have been scrapped.

The singer plays Croke Park in Dublin next summer as part of his This House Is Not For Sale tour.

Although dates have not yet been officially announced, a source told the Irish Mail on Sunday a week ago: ‘I would imagine an announcement regarding the Bon Jovi concert will be made over the coming weeks. They have a big touring show and Croke Park will be the perfect fit.

‘Bands like the Stones and Bon Jovi love the size of Croke Park because it means they don’t have to scale down their shows.’
