EFL HITS BACK AT MINISTER’S CLAIM

THE EFL has defended itself against claims by UK security minister Ben Wallace that footballing authorities had not ‘done enough’ to prevent money laundering in the sport. The EFL insisted it ‘acts in accordance with its obligations to report to appropriate authorities where it knows or suspects money laundering is taking place’.
