My fairy lady! Keira’s a vision
HER new movie is set in a fairytale world. And Keira Knightley certainly looked the part at its premiere last night.
The 33-year-old actress wore a frothy white lace gown with a gold brocade pattern, with a pink bow and flowing pink ribbons. Glittering heels were just about visible under the dress, and her hair was slicked back.
Ms Knightley was in London for the opening of Disney’s fantasy The Nutcracker And The Four Realms, based on the 1816 story by Hoffmann and the popular ballet.
In the film, a young girl called Clara (American actress Mackenzie Foy) is given a golden thread by her godfather and uses it to enter a mysterious world which is home to the tyrant Mother Ginger, played by Helen Mirren.
Clara also meets the Sugar Plum Fairy, played by Ms Knightley. Other stars in the film include Richard E Grant, Morgan Freeman and Jack Whitehall.
