÷I SEE that The Godfather Part II, Al Pacino, pictured, et al was on the telly during the week. Though the received wisdom suggests that it is a superior movie to the 1972 version that introduced us to the Corleones, I’ve never bought into that. Plus, the original movie also has the benefit of not having the vastly overrated Robert De Niro in the cast. ÷ THERE are few things that interest me less than the world of Formula One racing. But I’m reliably informed that Senna – the documentary about the late Ayrton Senna, which is being shown on ITV4 tonight – is well worth a look. ÷EVEN though she has won both an Emmy and a Golden Globe for her role in The Crown, Claire Foy insists her performance will be forgotten as soon as Olivia Colman, pictured, takes over the part. Perhaps it’s not just false modesty on her part. Ever since first seeing Colman in an early episode of the sitcom Peep Show, it’s been obvious that she is one of the finest actresses of her generation.
