Dunne says sorry for his foul language

-

PAUL DUNNE apologised for using bad language as his Turkish Airlines Open challenge stalled in Antalya yesterday. The first round leader was heard cursing on Sky Sports at the 16th hole which he played poorly. Another shot was leaked on the 18th as a level par 71 left Dunne (below) five shots adrift of playing partner, and defending champion, Justin Rose (65). Dunne later tweeted, ‘Apologies for the on course language today to anyone watching. Frustration got the better of me.’ Pádraig Harrington (70) found short putts a struggle as he joined Dunne on seven under. While Harrington holed for an eagle at the 15th and was the only player to make three on the 17th, he missed from no distance on the 16th and 18th for bogeys. Shane Lowry (70) climbed to seven under through 12 holes but a bogey on the 13th was followed by a double bogey on the 17th. On the PGA Tour, Graeme McDowell grabbed six birdies in a 67 to move to five under par at the Shriners Hospital For Children Open in Las Vegas but Seamus Power crashed out after a brace of 75s left him among the tail-enders.
