Bear is the only fella in Cheryl’s life now as pop star swears off dating for good

-

SHE’S had a series of love woes over the years, and Cheryl has said she is finally done with dating following her split from Liam Payne. Talking to singer Jessie Ware, for Jessie’s podcast Table Manners, the 35-year-old pop star said the only man she needs in her life, is her beloved son Bear, aged one.

She said: ‘I know what I want in life, but in the romantic area, I am not as evolved. That area has stopped. It’s not happening any more. It’s the end. It’s the end.’

Jessie said to her: ‘No, you’re too beautiful’ – but Cheryl, pictured, responded: ‘I’ve got the man in my life now. [Bear].’

The former Girls Aloud singer was previously married to Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini from 2014, but they split after 18 months. Before that, she was married to soccer star Ashley Cole from 2006, but they split after four years after he was alleged to have cheated on her.

Awkwardly, Jessie’s mum, Helena, who is also on the podcast, told Cheryl she might find herself a nice Chelsea footballer while living in Surrey. Cheryl responded: ‘Er, been there, done that.’

The lyrics of her new single, Love Made Me Do It, are: ‘I fall in love with every f***er, I am a dreamer. I believe things that are not really happening. I’m very romantic.’

The single is out tomorrow, and Cheryl said her new songs were written before she split from One Direction star Liam, 25, and are not about any man. She also revealed some more lyrics of the as-yet-unheard song are: ‘I’m falling in love several times. I’m on number seven of my nine lives. The ink on my skin marks the places I’ve been...’

Cheryl also spoke about motherhood and said she’s finding it hard to juggle everything, but that Bear will always come before her career.

She said she wants her only child to decide if he wants to be in the public eye when he’s older, and noted that he has curly hair just like her sister.

Cheryl said: ‘I have to work on the juggling. It’s a lot of adjusting. I refused to get help with him until he was 16 months old. It didn’t feel natural for me. I’ve had a luxury, to have the time, to have a year out with my son. I would like my mam to live with me but she doesn’t like London.’

Cheryl also discussed the famous red rose tattoo she had inked over her whole bottom, after battling malaria in 2010. It took 15 hours to complete, and she said: ‘I’m not sure me mam was thrilled about it. I was having a moment. I had been really sick and I wanted to live life.

‘Life’s short and I wanted to experience everything. It hurt. I had to have painkillers after to sleep. I won’t have more. Liam’s mother is not pleased about his ones either.’
