G’Day Kev... the new man in the jungle kiosk

-

KIOSK Keith getting fired was the scandal that shocked I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! fans earlier this year.

But viewers will be relieved to learn he has been replaced... by Kiosk Kev, pictured left. ITV revealed the replacement yesterday, days before the new season kicks off on Sunday. Kev’s first appearance will be on Monday.

The long-running ‘character’ Keith – who delivers questions to camp mates and rewards them with treats if they answer correctly – was sacked from the show ‘for behaving inappropriately’ last January.

And until now, fans have been in the dark about who will take over the Outback Shack.

The original actor who played the role of Keith, 53 – real name Raymond Grant – reportedly turned up drunk to work and made unwanted advances towards a female colleague on a bus into the Australian jungle.

The father of four was sacked after the woman – who is ‘half his age’ – was left ‘so upset’ by his alleged behaviour that she complained to ITV bosses, sources claimed earlier this year.

He is best known for running the camp shop, and he delighted viewers with his grumpy manner when stars approached him to collect their prizes for the Dingo Dollar challenges.

Raymond, pictured right, started off on the programme as a labourer in 2002, when he helped to build the show’s set, and was scouted by bosses to star as the silent shopkeeper.
