Horsing around with The Rock ... in Brangelina’s old pad
DWAYNE ‘The Rock’ Johnson is said to be renting the same London home where Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie stayed in 2016.
The 46-year-old former wrestler is well-known for his ripped physique, and so brought gym reinforcements in the form of his ‘Iron Paradise’ – the exercise equipment he brings to any location, complete with 18,150kg of machinery, a full kitchen, and an entourage to help him settle in. The Hollywood hardman shared a picture on Instagram as he posed on horseback outside the palatial home in affluent Richmond, revealing that the horse in question had starred in Gladiator and Robin Hood.
The stunning home, which has previously seen guests including Elton John and Fergie, is said to feature eight bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a garden gazebo, an indoor swimming pool and a playground.
The actor clearly enjoyed the American Thanksgiving holiday on the sprawling estate as he added the caption: ‘Good Thanksgiving hang with Rusty at the crib here in London. This ol’ boy’s a genuine star as he was Russell Crowe’s horse in one of my favorite films, Gladiator and Robin Hood . ‘Thankful to Rusty and his pal, Rosey for coming to the crib today for some Thanksgiving ridin’.’
Last month, Johnson celebrated his first week of shooting the highly anticipated Fast & Furious spin-off Hobbs & Shaw, by unveiling a first look photo.
The image, which he posted to Instagram, features both of the title characters, Johnson’s Luke Hobbs and Jason Statham’s Deckard Shaw.
While Statham, 51, was spotted filming scenes for the movie in September, The Rock finished his first week on the set in October.
Johnson and Statham lead a cast that also includes Idris Elba as the new villain Brixton, along with Vanessa Kirby who plays an MI-5 agent.
