Home and away... Bod and Amy go ‘sale agreed’

-

BOD and Amy – aka Brian O’Driscoll and Amy Huberman – have agreed the sale of their family home in Goatstown, south Dublin, for a cool €1.4million.

The pair and their two young children, Sadie and Billy, are moving into a large Victorian redbrick on sought-after Palmerston Road in Rathmines.

Rugby legend Brian, 39, bought the Goatstown house in 2005, the same year he was honoured with the captaincy of the Lions.

Brian and wife Amy, also 39, have now decided to move to a bigger home.

The couple asked that the sale be handled ‘privately’ by agents Savills – so their fans were sadly denied a peek at the interior.

The sale was agreed after interested buyers were offered exclusive ‘walk-throughs’ of the house. It can take up to six weeks before the sale and the final price officially appears on the Property Price Register.

Award-winning actress Amy recently revealed the family won’t be moving into their new home, which they bought in 2016, until the New Year.

‘We’re not going to be in it for Christmas. That’ll be our last Christmas in the house but that’s good,’ Amy said recently.

Plans for a three-storey rear extension and other renovations on their new Rathmines home were stalled after neighbours opposed them, but the couple have since been granted planning permission.
