Pleas for help to find man ‘who went missing from his wedding’

- Irish Daily Mail Reporter

FAMILY of man who it is believed disappeared after attending his own wedding reception in the early hours of yesterday morning issued pleas for help in finding him yesterday.

Gardaí are appealing for information on the whereabouts of Stephen Warren, 45, from Naas, Co. Kildare, who was last seen shortly after 12.30am on Sunday morning.

He is described as 5ft 10in tall with short black hair and brown eyes.

One relative posted information about him on Facebook after attending a wedding the night before at a hotel in Naas. They posted on the evening of the wedding that they had had a ‘great day’ at the ‘beautiful’ ceremony and reception.

However, that same relative was among many raising the alarm yesterday evening, posting online that Stephen was missing, with a link to a local news site.

A friend of the missing man also posted about him on social media – urging that people share his post about his disappearance as he expressed hope that the groom would be found.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Naas Garda station on 045 884300 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.

More than 1,000 people shared information about Mr Warren last night.

One Kildare business owner replied to several queries from concerned people in the area, saying there was no new information last night.

Stephen previously lived in Dublin and is originally from Cork.
