Spice to see you: Ginger and Charles are reunited
WHEN they were pictured together 22 years ago, she was part of a pop group and he seemed entranced by her eye-popping top.
Last night the one-time Ginger Spice was reunited with Prince Charles – and dressed more demurely. She was at a charity event in London, where the Spice Girl was joined by her Formula 1 boss husband Christian Horner. Ms Horner wore a black gown with her hair in gentle waves.
It was very different from their first meeting in 1997 at a charity concert in Manchester.
Back then, Geri and bandmate Mel C kissed the prince on the cheek, and Geri reportedly pinched his bottom – although she has since described it as a ‘pat’.
Last night she praised the prince as a ‘modern royal’.
