Back in a world of their own... with extra tickets going on sale

- Irish Daily Mail Reporter news@dailymail.ie

THEY haven’t played live for their Irish following for six-and-a-half years...

But Westlife’s fans are getting a chance to see the lads back in a world of their own – as more tickets are going on sale for their Croke Park gigs.

The stars will be reviving hits such as Uptown Girl, You Raise Me Up and Flying Without Wings, and performing some new songs for their summer shows.

The Croker comeback concerts are happening on July 5 and 6, and all the tickets initially made available were sold. However, due to big demand, extra tickets will go on sale at 9am on Tuesday of next week. It will be the first time Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily and Shane Filan have played here since their concerts at Croker in June 2012.

The first batch of tickets for their shows were snapped up in record time last October, and last month, the band released comeback single Hello My Love. An album is expected to follow.

Westlife have sold more than 55million records worldwide and are the only band to have their first seven singles enter the UK chart at No. 1.
