Tour warning over tickets

-

EUROPEAN Tour chiefs have warned golf fans to keep away from re-sale websites when it comes to purchasing tickets for the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open at Lahinch on July 4-7. The Viagogo site was selling a season ticket yesterday for the Rolex Series event for €242 – more than double the official price of €110. In a statement, the Tour said, ‘The only place fans should purchase their tickets is through our official ticketing partner, Eventbrite, via the tournament homepage, www. dubaidutyfreeirishopen.com. ‘Tickets through the official site are in plentiful supply.’
