A TABLE laden with Coca-Cola and ice cream, after sugary doughnuts for breakfast – and still Posh Spice couldn’t smile for the camera.
Victoria Beckham – who is never seen smiling in public – obviously felt the need to keep up her image, but she must have been beaming inside at the 45th birthday celebrations laid on by her family on Wednesday.
The day started early for Posh with a 6am wake-up from husband David and the kids – Brooklyn, 20, Romeo, 16, Cruz, 14, and Harper, seven – who presented her with a doughnut with a candle.
Then she was lavished with gifts, including a unique present from Harper – a personalised doll.
The American Girl doll was dressed in a blue shift dress and sported chic shades in the style of Victoria, while the dress had ‘my mummy rocks’ written on it. Victoria shared a video of the doll on Instagram, saying that she ‘loves it’.
The fashion designer was also treated to arrangements of beautiful flowers which covered her kitchen counter, including a big bouquet from David, 43.
The soccer legend also shared videos on Instagram of the children making icecream for Victoria at LA’s famous Cold Rolled Ice Cream Company.
And later in the day, the happy family headed for dinner at Giorgio Baldi, an Italian restaurant in Santa Monica, with Brooklyn’s model girlfriend Hana Cross joining the fun after also being there for breakfast.
Despite all the attention, the early start may have been the last thing Victoria wanted, as she had spent the previous night out celebrating with friends. No wonder she found it hard to smile...
