Maura to be ‘married in six months’

MAURA HIGGINS will be married within six months – according to legendary matchmaker, Willie Daly.

Nuptials would round off an already busy year for the reality TV break-out star, as the Longford beauty is also set to compete in Dancing On Ice.

The 28-year-old Love Islander, pictured right, was the first celebrity confirmed to be taking part in the dance contest last month, but after meeting the man behind the Lisdoonvarna Matchmaking festival on yesterday’s This Morning, Maura could be swapping costume fittings for wedding dress fittings before the end of April.

During Maura’s Love Ireland segment on the ITV show, in which she explores different aspects of Irish culture, Willie picked ‘a tall blond man with a strong build’, to which the model and grid girl pointed out: ‘That sounds like my man already!’

Maura and beau Curtis Pritchard, 23, have remained coy about their relationship since leaving Love Island together – and Maura revealed on the show that the professional dancer hasn’t yet professed his love for her.

Willie – who is said to be responsible for more than 3,000 marriages in his 50-year reign – then suggested she touch his love book with both hands and close her eyes.

With this, Willie declared that the star – who has just started her Dancing On Ice rehearsals – will be married within six months.

‘I’m getting married!’ exclaimed an excited Maura, before adding: ‘I can’t believe that I went all the way to Majorca to find love.

‘When all I had to go was to go to Ireland, meet Willie and put my hand on a book!’
