Trump out of tune

-

I SEE The Rolling Stones are considering suing Donald Trump for using their song, You Can’t Always Get What You Want, at his election rallies. Their legal move follows Tom Petty’s family’s complaint last week about Trump, right, using a Petty song, and adds the band to a list of other artists – including Guns N’ Roses, Aerosmith, Ozzy Osbourne, Queen and the estates of Prince and George Harrison – who’ve all tried to prevent the president busting their tunes out. At this rate, by the time the polls come around in November, Trump’s musical repertoire may well be limited to Happy Birthday. At least he could wash his tiny hands to it.

ALDI is trialling a home-delivery service with Derliveroo which promises customers will have their groceries just 30 minutes after ordering. Presumably orders submitted on a Thursday – when the iconic centre aisle gives up its special offers – may take a little longer. After all, delivering a chainsaw, a deep-sea diving suit and a set of car seat covers on the back of a bike is a serious balancing act.

CLEARLY, there’s something in the waters of Salt Lake City. Pop legend Donny Osmond’s youngest son Josh was married at the weekend, and sweet family photos of the happy event show Dad Donny with his five children, all boys, and their ten children, nine of whom are boys. Add to that tally the original Osmond family group of six boys and just one girl and it’s clear that the Osmonds don’t really do oestrogen. No wonder all Mormon missionaries are young men.
