SOME of us did diddly-squat during lockdown, while others took up baking, art and learning a new instrument. Others did what they do best and this Imagine film offers an insight into the family home of talented cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason who didn’t let the pandemic stop him creating. Filmed during lockdown, this one-off special comes ahead of the start of a new run of Imagine films. Back in 2016, Sheku (right, with sister Isata and brother Braimah) won the BBC Young Musician award, and went on to perform at the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. He’s just one of seven gifted siblings who, along with their parents and an equally talented house guest, stage an eclectic concert from their Nottingham home. This is an exquisite insight into a musical family.
