■ MORE than 56 % of parents have done their back to school shopping online this year, according to a new survey by Littlewood­s Ireland. The survey, of over 1,000 people nationwide, found avoiding the potentiall­y Covid-filled crowds was one of the motivation­s. Littlewood­s Ireland’s own research found in childrensw­ear the most purchased item is the Clarks Foot Gauge, available at just €13, and of course schoolbags, an essential item for the classroom.
