President filmed mock video like The Apprentice, new book reveals

DONALD Trump hated Barack Obama so much he hired a lookalike actor so he could fire him in a mock video filmed like his TV show The Apprentice, a new book claims.

The president’s former personal lawyer Michael Cohen writes that Mr Trump despised his White House predecessor long before declaring his run for the presidency in 2015.

The Apprentice-style video was reportedly made for the Republican National Convention in 2012 but never screened.

It shows Mr Trump sitting at his desk in Trump Tower with the actor playing Mr Obama - branded Fauxbama – opposite him. Mr Trump looks at his political nemesis’s CV as if he was a job candidate and criticises his record in office. He even mocks his golf swing and says he should have a ‘more upright finish’ because he gets so much practice.

The video ends with Mr Trump pointing his finger and saying: ‘President Obama: You’re fired!’ The book claims the president could not even bring himself to acknowledge his predecessor’s intelligence, saying he only got into the elite universities Harvard and Columbia through ‘f ****** affirmative action’.

The term refers to positive discrimination to boost the number of black students.

Mr Cohen, 54, who was Mr Trump’s fixer for 12 years and once said he would ‘take a bullet’ for him, recounts the ‘racist’ president’s ‘low opinion of all black folks’ in general.

Mr Trump, 74, allegedly once said while ranting about Mr Obama: ‘Tell me one country run by a black person that isn’t a s***hole. They are all complete f ****** toilets’. The book says that after former South African president Nelson Mandela died in 2013 Mr Trump said he did not think he ‘was a real leader – not the kind he respected’.

Instead he praised the country’s apartheid-era white rule, saying: ‘Mandela f ***** the whole country up. Now it’s a s***hole. F*** Mandela. He was no leader.’

The president was also allegedly dismissive of minorities during his election campaign and said they were ‘not my people’. Mr Trump is claimed to have said: ‘I will never

‘Organised crime don’

get the Hispanic vote. Like the blacks, they’re too stupid to vote for Trump.’ Mr Cohen and the president fell out in 2018 when the lawyer pleaded guilty to violating campaign finance law related to his work for Mr Trump, which included paying ‘hush money’ to a porn star over an alleged affair.

Mr Cohen was later sentenced to three years in prison and released this year. He says in his memoir Disloyal: The True Story of the Former Personal Attorney to President

Donald J Trump that he wants to stop the re-election of the president – who he labels ‘a cheat, a liar, a fraud, a bully, a racist, a predator, a conman’.

The lawyer writes that Mr Trump was also disrespectful to women, including his then 15-year-old daughter who was playing tennis in New Jersey. Watching, but not realising who she was, he allegedly remarked to Mr Cohen: ‘Look at that piece of a**. I would love some of that.’ In the book, Mr

Cohen admits he is still wounded by being cast out by Mr Trump and says he considered himself his ‘adopted son’.

But he now sees the president as an ‘organised crime don’ and a ‘master manipulator’.

Mr Cohen writes that he is ‘convinced that Trump will never leave office peacefully’.

Among other anecdotes, Mr Cohen describes the state of Mr Trump’s hair after getting out of the shower. He writes that ‘when his hair wasn’t done, his strands of dyed-golden hair reached below his shoulders along the right side of his head and on his back, like a balding Allman Brother or strungout old ‘60s hippie’. The White House called Mr Cohen’s memoir ‘fiction’ from a ‘sad and desperate man’. A spokesman said: ‘He readily admits to lying routinely, but expects people to believe him now so that he can make money from book sales.’
