VOGUE Williams has spoken about a terrifying experience she endured in London last week when a man tried to ‘abduct’ her, telling her ‘get in the f***ing car’.

Speaking on her podcast, the model and presenter, 36, recounted the scary experience, telling her co-host Joanne McNally that she had been heading to Heart radio in Leicester Square when the incident occurred.

‘It was around five o’clock in the morning… and I was walking over to Heart and this man goes: “Oi” and he was a kind of big man and he goes: “Get in the car, get in the f**king car,”’ Vogue said.

‘I got such a fright that there was a man running around, and I mean if he had gotten out of the car he would have easily been able to drag me in.’

The Dublin native, who presents The Big Deal on Virgin Media TV, described the man as being a ‘big guy’ and admitted that the incident ‘scared the c**p out of me’.

She said: ‘It just made me think, and I know I shouldn’t say it, but what if I had had a drink that night and I had no real sense in my mind and I went over just to be like: “What are you saying?” or something like that.’ The mother-of-two said the incident has left her feeling concerned for other girls.

‘I want to warn people to be really, really careful,’ she said.

‘I just thought: “If I hadn’t have had my wits about me.” You hear stuff in the news all the time but you never really think that someone is just going around doing that mad kind of s***.’

Both hosts agreed that women should have some way of protecting themselves.

‘I feel like at this stage I need to be armed going around the place,’ said Ms McNally who is from Killiney, Co. Dublin.
