ADELE’S $57M LOVE NEST
Singer and boyfriend move into Sly Stallone’s old home... but will they keep the Rocky statue?
IT is almost a year since they fell in love and started dating. Now superstar singer Adele and sports agent Rich Paul are setting up home together – at the former mansion of Rocky legend Sylvester Stallone. The lovestruck couple broke the news to fans online with pictures showing them beaming as they held the keys outside the sprawling eight-bed house in Beverly Hills. Chart-topper Adele is said to have paid $57million for the property – which features a statue of Stallone as Rocky in the grounds – in January. The Londoner, 34, met US multi-millionaire Paul, 40, at a birthday party after she split from her British husband, charity boss Simon Konecki, in 2019. They began dating two years later and made their relationship public last summer. Mother-of-one Adele, who divorced last year, also owns three other properties in starstudded Beverly Hills. Her latest 18,000sq.ft house has 12 bathrooms and a large swimming pool – where the Rocky statue takes pride of place. Adele also posted another image of the couple backstage at a concert last year.
The singer, worth $195million thanks to massive hits such as Hello and Someone Like You, is shown sitting on a chair while Paul bends over to kiss her.
Other snaps show her holding a fortune cookie with the message: ‘You have found good company – enjoy’ and the couple wearing matching grey T-shirts watching a baseball game. She captioned the Instagram post: ‘Time flies.’
Adele is rumoured to be engaged to Paul after she was seen with a huge diamond ring at the Brit awards in February.
She celebrated her 34th birthday last week and said: ‘What a difference a year makes!’
She added: ‘If time keeps healing and smoothing out all the creases in my life like it does as the years fly by, then I can’t wait to be 60! I’ve never been happier! So many lessons, so many blessings to be grateful for. This is 34, and I love it here!’
