A ROCK star’s alleged affair with a social media star was exposed after his ‘former mistress’ claimed he asked her for permission to name his new baby after her.

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, 43, is said to have cheated on his wife with Instagram influencer Sumner Stroh, 23.

He was accused of having a year-long affair with her days after his Victoria’s Secret model wife Behati Prinsloo, 34, announced she was pregnant with their third child.

Levine, whose songs include Girls Like You, yesterday denied having an affair but admitted he ‘crossed the line’.

Ms Stroh released viral TikTok videos claiming she had a relationship with Levine

‘At the time I was young and naive’

for ‘about a year’, showing screenshots of flirty messages which suggested they had met in person at least once.

The singer is alleged to have told Ms Stroh in an Instagram message: ‘It is truly unreal how **** ing hot you are. Like it blows my mind.’ He is said to have added: ‘You are 50 times hotter in person. And so am I. Hahaha.’

The influencer said in the video: ‘Essentially, I was having an affair with a man who is married to a Victoria’s Secret supermodel.

‘At the time, I was young and naive. And I mean, quite frankly, I feel exploited. I wasn’t in the scene like I am now, so I was definitely easily manipulated.’

In the video, which had been viewed over 16 million times last night, Ms Stroh said she had lost contact with the singer ‘over a period of months’. But Levine allegedly contacted her in June to inform her that he was expecting another child with his wife of eight years.

In screenshots of Instagram messages, the singer allegedly said: ‘OK, serious question. I’m having another baby and if it’s a boy I really wanna name it Sumner. You OK with that? Dead serious.’ Ms Stroh said she felt like she was ‘in hell’. She added that she went public with the alleged affair after a friend threatened to sell the story to a newspaper.

In a follow-up video, Ms Stroh apologised to Levine’s wife and said she was ‘embarrassed and disgusted’ with herself.

She insisted: ‘The most important part that I definitely glossed over was the fact that I was under the impression that their marriage was over.’

Her claims come days after Namibian model Ms Prinsloo posted a picture of her bump on Instagram.

Levine yesterday admitted he had been ‘inappropriate’ with Ms Stroh but insisted their relationship was not physical.

In a social media post, he said: ‘A lot is being said about me right now and I want to clear the air. I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in any kind of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair. Nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period of my life.

‘In certain instances, it became inappropriate. I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family.

‘My wife and my family is all I care about in this world. To be this naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make.

‘I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it together.’

The couple have two daughters and recently celebrated their eighth anniversary in Hawaii.
