FOFANA BACK AS MAATSEN LOANED TO DORTMUND

CHELSEA have recalled striker David Datro Fofana from Union Berlin. His return freed up an internatio­nal loan spot and allowed Ian Maatsen to seal his loan to Borussia Dortmund yesterday. Sevilla want Fofana on loan, but must wait to see if Chelsea can cancel another loan or sell one of the seven players filling their limited loan spots. Sevilla remain intent on signing Hannibal Mejbri from MANCHESTER UNITED too.

■ ARSENAL are monitoring Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee, although a summer deal is more likely for the 22-year-old.

■ NOTTINGHAM FOREST midfielder Orel Mangala, 25, is attracting enquiries from Galatasara­y, Juventus and Napoli. BOURNEMOUT­H winger Hamed Traore is also a target for Napoli. The 23-year-old has only just recovered from malaria and last played for Bournemout­h on November 1.

■ TOTTENHAM have completed the signing of centre-back Radu Dragusin from Genoa in a move which has paved the way for Eric Dier to join Bayern Munich.

■ BRENTFORD have asked about Marseille left back Renan Lodi, 25. The Bees have signed Turkish midfielder Yunus Emre Konak, 18, from Sivasspor for £4million. FULHAM and EVERTON are monitoring Brentford midfielder Frank Onyeka in case he is allowed out on loan.

■ BRIGHTON are poised to confirm the signing of Valentin Barco from Boca Juniors after he had a medical yesterday.

■ BURNLEY forward Darko Churlinov, 23, is wanted by German side Schalke. LIVERPOOL left back Luke Chambers is expected to join League One WIGAN on loan until the end of the season. WEST HAM midfielder Conor Coventry is discussing a move to CHARLTON.

■ LEEDS are set to appoint Jordan Miles as their new head of recruitmen­t. Miles has been working for Aberdeen. Leeds are keen on a loan move for West Ham full back Ben Johnson, and their midfielder Darko Gyabi, 19, has joined PLYMOUTH on loan.

■ LUTON midfielder John McAtee is attracting interest from Sunderland, Ipswich, Cardiff and Plymouth after impressing on loan at Barnsley.

■ COVENTRY are closing in on a £2m deal for Danish midfielder Victor Torp from Norwegian club Sarpsborg.

■ SHANE McMonagle has returned to FINN HARPS after a spell at DERGVIEW FC in the NIFL Championsh­ip.
