TOTTENHAM SAY NO TO SAUDI BID FOR EMERSON

÷ TOTTENHAM have rejected an offer of £20million from Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr for defender Emerson Royal. The Brazilian is needed as defensive cover, at least until the end of the season. Spurs are continuing talks with Club Bruges over a £25m deal for winger Antonio Nusa that would see the 18-year-old stay in Belgium on loan. ÷WEST HAM have been rebuffed in an approach to take ASTON VILLA forward Jhon Duran on loan with an option to buy. The Hammers have also seen their loan request for ARSENAL’S Emile Smith Rowe rejected, but hope a bid for MANCHESTER CITY’S Kalvin Phillips will be successful. Villa, meanwhile, remain in talks for MIDDLESBRO­UGH’S Morgan Rogers at and will not allow Duran to leave before signing another forward. They have also bid for Elfsborg and Iceland goalkeeper Hakon Valdimarss­on.

NAPOLI have made a revised offer for NOTTINGHAM FOREST midfielder Orel Mangala. The loan with an option to buy for £25m is still short of Forest’s asking price, but talks continue.

BAYERN MUNICH have not yet given up on signing Kieran Trippier, despite NEWCASTLE rejecting their opening offer. Celta Vigo have signed defender Javier Manquillo from Newcastle on a free transfer.

CHELSEA winger Diego Moreira will return to the club today after curtailing his loan with Lyon. The French side want EVERTON’S Arnaut Danjuma to replace him.

EVERTON are braced for a bid from Al Ettifaq for Abdoulaye Doucoure. The 31-year-old midfielder is a potential target to replace Jordan Henderson.

SHEFFIELD UNITED are finalising a £2m deal for Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Ivo Grbic, 28. The Blades are also keen on Mason Holgate, who is on loan from Everton at SOUTHAMPTO­N. The Saints want BOURNEMOUT­H winger David Brooks on loan.

BURNLEY forward Darko Churlinov will join former club Schalke on loan with an option to buy for £3m.
