AS a flamboyant and outspoken rocker, Noel Gallagher has never been one to do things by halves.

So when he moved out of his family home after splitting with his wife, he was only ever going to live somewhere swanky.

Breaking his silence on his divorce from former PR executive Sara MacDonald, the star revealed he booked into a €3,000-a-night suite at the fivestar Claridge’s hotel in Mayfair while he waited for his bachelor pad to be refurbished.

Gallagher, 56, told the Matt Morgan Podcast: ‘I had some proper f***ing good times there. I lived there for most of last year, I was there three or four nights a week’. The singer-songwriter, reportedly now worth €67million, later moved into a flat in Maida Vale, west London.

Gallagher and MacDonald, 52 – who have sons Donovan, 16, and Sonny, 14 – split last year after 22 years.

It was claimed he paid her €23million plus their €9million home in Hampshire in the divorce settlement.

Gallagher, whose hits with Oasis included Champagne Supernova and Wonderwall, said: ‘I can get on the bike and go up to King’s Cross, go down to the canal and get outside my wonderful ex-wife’s house and give her a little wave – and go, “You didn’t take this from me”.’

Speaking about reforming the 1990s band with his estranged brother Liam, 51, he added: ‘If we were to come back, it would be like a heritage kind of thing, it could never be the same.

‘If Oasis appeared tomorrow and we were talking about f***ing rottweilers snorting cocaine in the studio and how we didn’t give a f*** about drugs in the studio, the record companies would s*** themselves.’
