QUESTION

Dear Linda, I have been married for two years and in a relationship with my husband for almost 10 years. I am beginning to feel the romance has left our relationship and I am being taken for granted. My husband is a good provider, we have a lovely home and I want for nothing materially; however there is no spark in our relationship any more. He no longer makes an effort on anniversaries, birthdays and even ignored Valentine’s Day this year. I have tried for years now to figure out why and put myself through hoops trying to be the wife my husband wants but he is oblivious to my needs. I am beginning to resent him for this and I’m even wondering is my husband still in love with me. How can I find a solution? Many thanks, K.

ANSWER

Dear K, Your resentment will only grow deeper until you are prepared to face the truth of your situation. It is important to express your needs in any relationship . Trying to act and be the person we think others want us to be is a futile exercise. The truth of the matter is that we all have different ‘wants’ in terms of our relationships and we cannot expect people to be mind readers. Be yourself at all times, expressing and discussing your wants and needs instead of expecting your husband to second guess. Loving and honouring yourself for who you truly are is key in any relationship instead of suffering in silence.

÷ FIRST CARD: SURRENDER AND RELEASE

When we hold on tightly to a part of your life that’s not working, it has no room to heal. Whether you’re unhappy with your love life, finances, career, home, or health, this card asks you to let go. If you hang on to these aspects of your life because of fears such as: ‘What if I can’t find someone or something better?’, then the situation will only worsen. However, if you’re willing to open your hands and allow the situation to be freed, one of two situations will occur. Either it will be washed away from you and replaced by a better situation, or the situation will heal in a miraculous way. By drawing this card, the angels ask you to try not to control the outcome of your troubling situation. Let go and let God help you.

÷ ADVICE/OBSTACLE: EMERGING

You are awesome in so many ways, and you are beginning to trust and reveal your true nature more easily. At one time, you may have believed that you had to hide your feelings from others (or even yourself). Now, however, you realise how vital and attractive expressing your authentic self is. Your angels are guiding you to honour your true feelings by expressing them to yourself and others. The angels will help you lovingly talk about your feelings so that no misunderstandings occur with loved ones. Your angels will never guide you to do or say anything that could hurt you or anyone else! They will also ensure that your life will emerge to a new level of inner peace as you let your true self come out to play.

÷ OUTCOME: VISUALISE SUCCESS

The angels want to boost your confidence and relieve you of worries about this situation. Part of this process involves holding positive visions of yourself and the other person involved. When you expect the best, you inspire the best in yourself and others. The issue depends on your faith in, and a firm vision of, a successful outcome. Fortunately the angels can help you hold a high and clear vision of success. Just ask them for this help and it is done. See yourself doing well in this situation, and have faith in a positive outcome.
