Gavin’s in Paris while Sorcha and Morgana sing freely

-

THERE are plenty of us who would love to hang out with Gavin James in Paris. But it was singers Jamie McIntyre and Dàwna (right) who were given the privilege as part of Three’s City Stages initiative.

They were chosen by the Irish star to support him on recent sold-out shows at Supersonic Records in the French capital and they got to play one of Gavin James hit songs Afterlife with the headliner at the picturesque location – namely under the arches close to the Eiffel Tower.

Earlier in February, Kildare pianist Gemma Cox and songwriter Rachel Grace from Wexford were picked from over 500 applicants to join Gavin James in Amsterdam to open for him at the beautiful Vondelkerk Church, playing to full house audiences both nights. The trip also saw them record a special collaborative version of Gavin’s hit song ‘Always’ in Sony Music Netherlands HQ.

City Stages is part of Three’s commitment to the brand’s All For Music campaign. For over a year now it has continued to help support and nurture new and exciting musical talent across the country through incredible live experiences and offering career opportunities to burgeoning performers, taking them from the city streets to the biggest stages in Ireland and beyond.

Interested artists can sign up to City tages now at 3.ie/CityStages. ÷ WHO doesn’t love a free ticket to a top quality gig? And next week music lovers can catch Sorcha Richardson and Morgana at two different venues just by applying for tickets, thanks to Jameson Connects.

Sorcha Richardson (pictured) and Morgana, better known as one half of Saint Sister and now embarking on a solo outing, will unveil an exclusive new collaboration at Whelan’s in Dublin this Monday March 11 and at Belfast’s Limelight on Tuesday March 12. Tickets for both events are available to apply for via jamesonwhiskey. com/en-ie/connects/home. You could also be in with the chance to win a trip to New York to see Jameson’s St. Patrick’s Eve celebration in Times Square on Monday, March 16 as gigs will feature a photo set up giving a group of three the chance of winning.
