MADONNA partied with her ‘favourite actor’ Cillian Murphy hours after he claimed the Academy Award for Best Actor.

The superstar shared a behindthe-scenes look at her annual Oscars party, which has a strict no-cameras policy, following the 96th Academy Awards on Sunday evening.

In images taken from the notoriously exclusive after-party, attended by Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce and Salma Hayek this year, Madge, 65, rocked a stunning corset, designed by Christian Lacroix for her Re-Invention World Tour in 2004, and wig.

While posing for a picture with Corkman Murphy, 47, who won his first Oscar for his role in Oppenheimer just hours earlier, the Queen of Pop held onto a sign which read: ‘Leave me alone. I’m tired!!’

‘Oscar Party was FUN!’ she captioned the pictures on Instagram. ‘Not exactly a night off for a girl that needs a night off, but I’m so happy I got to meet my favorite A.C.T.O.R! #cillianmurphy.’

At the ceremony, Murphy thanked his parents, Breandán and Mary; his wife Yvonne McGuinness, whom he called ‘my partner in life and art’; and ‘my two boys, Malachy and Aran, who are sitting up there’. ‘I love you so much. I’m a very proud Irishman standing here,’ the actor added.

Yesterday, Cillian’s dad said the family got quite excited after his name was called out as winner. Speaking with RTÉ’s Raidió na Gaeltachta, Breandán Ó Murchú said the family went ‘beagáinín as ár meabhair’ – ‘a little crazy’ – when he won. He said he was touched when his son named him and Mary in his speech, which they watched from their own Oscars party in Ballintemple, Co. Cork. ‘When he mentioned my name, it was like the reading of the rolls at school and I was going to say “anseo”,’ he said. ‘We had a cake too, it was great to have it at home – and we had more than cake.’ The actor’s father said Cillian is unlikely to return to Cork immediately, noting a holiday is due as well as the Leaving Cert for his oldest son. He said his downto-earth son doesn’t get movie star treatment at home, explaining: ‘We don’t like to make too much fuss about him... All the same, we’re so happy for him and pleased.’

The 16th annual edition of her shindig, known as ‘The Party’, was hosted at the home of Madonna’s talent manager Guy Oseary and backed by Gucci.

Screen star Sam Neill, 76, also sang Cillian’s praises, posting a snap of the pair online, with Oscar in tow, and writing: ‘Here’s me pal #CillianMurphy the next day with the Gold Fella, and me. I could not be more thrilled, as you see. So well deserved. We had a great catch up. And a Bloody Mary. Or two. What an actor, what a performance and what a movie.’
