Everything we’ve done has been infiltrated which is terrible LIAM CUNNINGHAM ON RTE’S THE WORKS

GAME of Thrones’ Liam Cunningham has blasted the “lowlifes” who have been trying to get spoilers for the show’s upcoming season.

The Dubliner, 55, added the cast have remained tight-lipped about future plots because it’s “the best thing” for the series. But fans are so hungry for a hint of what’s to come they have deployed drones to catch a glimpse of actors filming in open areas. Cunningham said: “I keep quiet because it’s the best thing for the show, you really don’t want to spoil it. “The people who want to spoil it, they’re lowlifes – not fans. In Spain we were being live streamed while we were filming, from drones. “Everything we’ve done has been infiltrated which is terrible. “It can appear like we are being precious about it and it’s not. One of the great things about the show is these bizarre surprises. “I’ve seen these cynical critics going, ‘Oh my God, did you see that last week?’ “Suddenly the inner child comes out in them because they have been outwitted and they love it and so does the audience. “It’s what we pay for. I like it as well, when I am reading the scripts I go, ‘Oh you’ve gotta be, you’re sh***ing me’ and I love that.” The fantasy series is one of the biggest shows the dad of three has been involved in but he almost missed out on a part due to scheduling conflicts. Producers invited the star, who plays Ser Davos Seaworth, back to audition for season two, much to his delight. The “big, big fan” of the series revealed his role has been expanded “significantly” since he joined the HBO epic in 2012. He also told RTE’S The Works With John Kelly: “There’s so many morally ambivalent characters and morally grey areas in this, you need characters on the show to kind of go, ‘What the f**k are we doing here? This is completely wrong.’”
