Paul cooks up storm with new boy noel
THE new Great British Bake Off team have met for dinner and Paul Hollywood bonded with Noel Fielding. A source said the foursome, which also includes Prue Leith and Sandi Toksvig, arrived separately at a Central London venue before heading to a private room with show bosses. The source added: “They all got on really well and Paul couldn’t resist having a selfie with Noel. Sandi was excited to be working with Noel again and they all can’t wait to get started.” Paul, 51, posted a picture of himself and Noel and sent the Mighty Boosh star a tweet saying “Nice to meet you”. Filming for the new Channel 4 series starts next month after the show moved from BBC1 in a multi-million deal. Mary Berry and hosts Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins chose to stay with the Beeb. Talking on ITV’S Loose Women earlier this week about the new show and their first meeting, Paul said: “At the end of the day most people were in the dark. It’s kept very quiet for obvious reasons. But we’re about to meet up. It’s got to be kept so quiet. It’s going to be on the moon somewhere!”
