Lottie ties the knot in secret
radio star marries long-time love in intimate ceremony
2FM star Lottie Ryan is officially off the market after tying the knot in an intimate ceremony over the weekend.
The radio presenter, who is the daughter of the late Gerry Ryan, married her long-time love Fabio Aprile in a Dublin registry office. The 30-year-old told 2FM’S Breakfast Republic: “I’m a dark horse, I’m a sneaky thing I am. “It was awesome, really good fun, just my family and just his family. We had a ball, it was great.” The pair, who have been together for 12 years, are also set to have another celebration in Italy in May. It is understood Lottie’s 26-year-old brother Rex will walk her up the aisle. Just 40 of the couple’s nearest and dearest will join them for their big day, including Lottie’s mum Morah and siblings Bonnie, 23, Elliot, 19, and 16-year-old Babette.

The notoriously private RTE star got secretly engaged to Irish/ Italian actor Fabio in 2015. They were introduced through mutual friends in 2004 and moved to New York together in 2009 where Lottie worked as a runner on CBS’S hit legal drama The Good Wife. The Dubliner, who presents a weekend breakfast show, has been reluctant to reveal anything about her relationship with Fabio in the past. She previously said: “I’d prefer not to talk about it but I’m happy and it’s super-private because it’s special. “I’m deeply private and personal – my family always have been – and I know there are some things that you have to guard closely. “So few of my cards are left and so few things are left personal to me, that I like to keep it under lock and key.” Next month marks the seventh anniversary of dad Gerry’s death. The 53-year-old was found dead at his apartment on Dublin’s Leeson Street in April 2010 after suffering a heart attack.
