Audi’s electric offering at Shanghai was the Gran Turismo e-tron Sportback concept, a four-door coupe which can do 0-62mph in 4.5sec and has a range of 310 miles. It uses three electric motors – one driving the front wheels and one driving each rear wheel. A 95kwh lithium ion battery is positioned between the axles underneath the passenger compartment floor. Audi plans to have a production-ready version of the car on sale in 2019.
